FHOG Appomottox Courthouse Ride 7:45am

Join us on an all-day, approximately 400 mile round-trip, three-leg, NON-SPIRITED ride on mostly Virginia Byways to visit Appomattox Courthouse on the 158th anniversary of the surrender of the Confederate Army of Northern Virginia under General Robert E. Lee to the Union Armies under Lieutenant General Ulysses S. Grant.

Meet: Bob Evans, 10830 Promenade Lane, Manassas, Virginia when it opens at 7:00 A.M., Kick-stands up is planned for 7:45 A.M. NOTE! Bob Evans doesn’t open until 7:00 A.M. so it might be advisable to have breakfast beforehand!

Arrive: Appomattox, Virginia approximately 11:30 A.M. where we will have lunch at the Rail Yard Restaurant before proceeding to the Courthouse National Historical Park, 111 National Park Drive, Appomattox. After touring the Courthouse where the surrender occurred and other buildings on the premises, we will return on different, more direct route, arriving back in the Manassas area at approximately 6:00 P.M.

Closed Events are those events open to Chapter members and one guest per member.  All guests must sign an event release. Be aware, all rides and events are subject to change or cancellation due to weather or other circumstances beyond our control.
