Welcome to the Fairfax Chapter of Harley Owners Group.  We are sponsored by Patriot Harley-Davidson® in Fairfax Virginia.

The Fairfax Chapter was chartered in 1999 and is made up of riders primarily from Fairfax, Arlington, and Loudoun counties, as well as the cities of Alexandria, Falls Church, Vienna, and Fairfax, VA, but has members from other communities, including the state of Maryland and the District of Columbia. Its members are a very diverse group of Harley riders and passengers from many walks of life.

The Fairfax VA Chapter of the Harley Owners Group focuses its mission on three things:

• Riding and having fun on Harley-Davidson motorcycles
• Promoting and education members on safe motorcycle riding
• Contributing to the improvement of our community

The Fairfax VA Chapter of the Harley Owners Group is very active and hosts a wide variety of riding events throughout the year. These activities include Poker Runs, Dinner Rides, Group Rides, Overnight Destination Rides, Picnics, and Parades and Charity Events.

Both the Fairfax VA Chapter and Patriot Harley-Davidson are strong supporters of safe and responsible motorcycle riding. The Chapter provides Group Riding seminars, Road Captain seminars, and strongly encourages each member to take the Basic RiderCourse (BRC), both Street RiderCourse offerings, and the Advanced RiderCourse put on by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF).

You will see the Fairfax VA Chapter of the Harley Owners Group involved in many community outreach activities including:

• City of Fairfax Adopt-A-Spot highway cleanup
• Ride of the Patriots - A Memorial Day tradition honoring and remembering those who have given their lives to protect and defend our liberty. The Chapter and Patriot Harley-Davidson host this annual community event which is highlighted by a ride to join up with Rolling Thunder at the Pentagon. On average, 4,000 riders represent Fairfax County in the Ride for Freedom in Washington, D.C. and join over 300,000 other bikers from around the USA.
• Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA)
• Concerns of Police Survivors (COPS)
• Salvation Army
• FACETS & The Lamb Center
• Working with the Red Cross at Walter Reed Army Hospital to assist soldiers wounded in Iraq and Afghanistan is a special interest of the chapter

The Fairfax VA Chapter of the Harley Owners Group meets on the second Wednesday of every month at 6:30pm at Patriot Harley-Davidson and those who are interested in joining are invited to attend. Come see what the Fairfax Chapter is all about.  

Our Chapter meets on the 2nd Wednesday of each month @ 6:30pm, either virtually or in-person, pending COVID-19 limitations.

Chapter Charter & Handbook

Harley Owners Group® (H.O.G.®)

H.O.G. is the official riding club of Harley-Davidson over one-million members strong, with more than 1400 chapters around the world.  H.O.G. is an organization founded and sponsored by Harley-Davidson Motor Company.  Established to offer motorcycling benefits and services to Harley-Davidson enthusiasts throughout the world, and develop a closer relationship between the Harley-Davidson rider, the Harley-Davidson dealership, and Harley-Davidson Motor Company.  

Each chapter is sponsored by a Harley-Davidson dealership.  It is offered to bring members together for the common interest of promoting motorcycling activities.  The intent of the Chapter is to “Ride and Have Fun” with like-minded individuals who have a passion for riding Harley-Davidson motorcycles.
